This one of a kind bracelet features some rare antique trade beads! The focal is a teal Hebron bead handmade in Hebron, Palestine in the 1700’s from glass and salt from the Dead Sea. The other antique beads are glass vaseline beads in a smokey brown color, very rare! Made from Bohemian Glass during the 1800's, beads such as these were likely faceted by hand for export to Africa. I paired these with blue Indonesian glass melon beads made to look old, bone beads crafted from artisans in Nepal, ancient Roman glass discs in blue tones, a blue African recycled glass bead and handmade recycled silver bicone beads from the Tuareg in Mali.
The closure is a hand stamped Karen Hill Tribe fine silver button and link. The button fits through a loop of taupe leather cord that is knotted onto the link. Knotted onto the leather ends are bone beads. Hanging from the link is an artisan pewter, hand painted in bronze, nature girl charm, an artisan ceramic beautiful blue lunar moth charm and a cute ancient Roman glass dangle.
This fits a 6.25” wrist.
This can be made smaller by removing beads or made larger by adding beads.
Please see my Information page on directions for measuring your wrist. Please contact me if you would like this piece custom sized.
