This very rustic bracelet was created with a variety of green beads that have an organic and earthy feel to them. The focal and smaller side bead are antique Hebron beads from the 1700’s. They were made in Hebron, Palestine from glass and salt from the Dead Sea. The other beads are turquoise, green garnet, a raw nugget of prehnite, serpentine, a green glass ring bead and a faceted bead of antique Roman glass. Metal beads include: ornate handmade Berber beads from Mali, Tuareg recycled silver metal bicones also made in Mali and Bali style silver beads flank the focal and at each end.
The closure is a silver metal Kuchi button and link. The button fits through a loop of green leather lace which is connected to the link. Knotted onto the leather ends are old silver Ethiopian beads. Hanging from the link are two Kuchi charms. The Kuchi people are nomads that live in Afghanistan.
This bracelet is adjustable by sliding a brass bead up and down the leather lace.
This will fit a 6.50” wrist to a 6.75” wrist.
