This rustic one of a kind bracelet features a beautiful vintage naga shell focal. I’ve paired some rare antique trade beads with it including a green Hebron bead from the 1700’s. They were made by artisans in Hebron, Palestine from glass and salt from the Dead Sea. Also included are two antique green Vaseline beads. Originally created in Bohemia, these antique beads have traveled through many continents. Vaseline beads are distinguished by their faceted and typically bicone shape. Most commonly found in transparent greens and reds. The last antique bead is a “feather” bead in a rare lime green and black. Made in Venice, Italy probably in the 1800’s.
I paired very rustic green turquoise wheels with lots of matrix, 1,000 year old Neolithic quartz beads, a raw nugget of peridot and silver metal bicones handmade by the Tuareg in Mali.
The closure is a hand stamped Karen Hill Tribe fine silver button and link. The button fits through a loop of dark brown leather cord that is knotted onto the link. Knotted onto the leather ends are white African recycled glass beads. Hanging from the link is an artisan pewter ginkgo leaf charm. The Ginkgo symbolizes hope, strength and resilience. Also included is a beautiful Karen Hill Tribe fine silver leaf charm and a green turquoise dangle.
This fits a 6.5” wrist.
This can be made smaller by removing beads or made larger by adding beads.
