This one of a kind neutral beauty is designed around an amazing rare vintage focal bead which measures about 1.5” long. The center part of this bead is Naga shell which has a sun design etched into it and encircles the bead. It is made by the Naga people, who live in a mountainous region in the northwest of India and the northern boarder of Myanmar. The brass metal repousse end caps were handmade in Tibet. Repousse metalwork is made by hammering or pressing on the reverse side of the item to create a low relief.
I paired the focal with an array of interesting beads which includes an antique glass bead from Europe, antique glass “Dutch donut” ring beads from Germany, Venetian antique glass “eye”bead with faded dots of white, blue and pink, hand patterned conch shell mala beads, a large and a smaller chunk of raw quartz crystal, carved bone beads, brass repousse beads from Tibet and Ethiopian brass ring beads.
The antique and ancient beads used in this bracelet may show small chips, corrosion, and pitting. This only adds to their character and attests to their age and use.
This is a stretch bracelet strung on elastic cord which fits over your wrist.
This will fit a 6.25” wrist best and fits a tad snug on a 6.5” wrist.
This can be made smaller by removing beads or made larger by adding beads.
