This gorgeous double strand bracelet has a southwestern flair with its stunning colors of turquoise and shades of earthy oranges. One strand has a beautiful puffy textured rectangular focal made from fine silver by the Karen Hill Tribe people. This has been paired with large turquoise discs, large Mexican opal rondelles, four handmade lampwork beads, two in a turquoise color with a mottled design, and two in a terra-cotta color, small matte terra cotta glass disc beads, and fine silver disc beads. The second strand has a hard to find Mexican opal nugget focal. This has been paired with chrysocolla rounds, large sponge coral discs, one lampwork bead in terra cotta tones and one at each end, small matte terra cotta glass discs and fine silver lotus flower beads. Fine silver ring beads are used throughout both strands.
The closure is a spectacular artisan handmade button with Bao Canyon turquoise set in sterling and fine silver. This stone is mesmerizing! This fits through a loop of supple turquoise leather lace which is knotted onto an artisan sterling silver link. Knotted onto the leather ends are turquoise ceramic wheel beads. Hanging from the link is a sterling silver charm depicting cacti and canyons with a brass sun, a sterling silver arrowhead charm with a chiseled look to it and a cute little bench bead dangle.
This bracelet can be sized by sliding a bead up and down the leather lace.
This will fit a 6.5” wrist to a 7” wrist.
If you need a different size this piece can be made a smaller or larger by adding or removing beads. Please see my Information page on directions for measuring your wrist. Please contact me if you would like this piece custom sized.
Karen Hill Tribe silver beads and components are made in northern Thailand using traditional tribal methods. Each piece is handmade using primitive tools. I love using these pieces as it helps sustain a traditional craft and provides the Karen people with a reliable source of income. Karen Hill Tribe silver is between 99.5% and 99.9% pure silver. It has a higher silver content than sterling silver which has a silver content of 92.5%.
